Clément Tabur Beats Marc-Andrea Hüsler in Gstaad Qualifying

Clément Tabur advanced through qualifying at the Swiss Open Gstaad after defeating home player Marc-Andrea Hüsler in straight sets.

The Frenchman recorded a 6-4, 7-6 victory, winning the second-set tiebreak 7-3 to close out the match without being taken to a deciding set.

Hüsler had the support of the Swiss crowd, but Tabur handled the occasion well and delivered in the most important moments of the second set.

The win moves Tabur into the main draw of the ATP 250 clay-court event. It also gives him the opportunity to add valuable ranking points during the European summer clay swing.
