Top seeds Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos captured the Brawo Open doubles title in Braunschweig with a straight-sets victory over Arthur Reymond and Luca Sanchez.
The Brazilian pairing won the final 7-5, 6-2 on the tournament’s outdoor clay courts.
Reymond and Sanchez, the fourth seeds, pushed their opponents closely during the opening set. Luz and Matos found the decisive advantage late in the set before pulling away more comfortably in the second.
The Brazilians’ top seeding reflected their status among the strongest teams in the draw, and they ultimately converted that position into the championship.
